HealthNet Office Building

Sacramento, CA

Serving as a consultant to the mechanical design-build contractor, we designed the mechanical and plumbing systems for this three-story office building in Sacramento, CA. The mechanical system consisted of large rooftop air conditioners and variable air volume (VAV) boxes with reheat at the exterior zones provided by a roof-mounted boiler. Split into two packages, we provided plans for the shell building including everything installed on or penetrating the external surfaces of the building as well as running the ductwork mains and all underground plumbing. In the tenant improvement package, we ran all above slab plumbing and placed VAV boxes, low velocity ductwork and grilles/diffusers.
