The new 90,000 SF Paso Verda K-8 School for Natomas Unified School District’s approximately 1,000 students, include six buildings with four classroom wings, an administration area, kindergarten, library, and multipurpose room/gymnasium. Supporting the school’s robust Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics (STEAM) program, each classroom wing was designed with flexible collaboration spaces to provide opportunities for hands-on learning. The outdoor spaces provide many additional opportunities for hands on learning and playing.
