This existing 30,000 sq ft, two story office building was completely renovated inside including all mechanical, plumbing, electrical and fire sprinkler systems. The new Rancho Cordova Police Department facility includes office space, hard interview rooms, locker rooms, exercise rooms, armory, evidence lab, briefing room, and conference rooms. Increasing connections with the community, the building also includes a large Community/Events room. To support the new police department, a building on the site was renovated to serve as the new maintenance shop. The project was designed to reduce energy and water use while providing high indoor air quality and comfort. This facility is tracking to achieve LEED® Silver certification.
